The DMV player development model is built to enhance both athleticism and skill, with a focus on consistent improvement. Our teams maintain robust practice and tournament schedules, and we emphasize all aspects of elite player development—fitness, stick skills, game sense, teamwork, and commitment. DMV Prime Field Hockey players are trained in a collegiate style of play and are also taught the athletic intangibles necessary to compete at the highest levels

The Intangibles: Emphasis is placed on off-ball movement, tactical use of space, an enhanced passing game (including field vision and breaking down the play), and a culture of discipline and integrity.

Lena Vandam
- 5 years of experience coaching in the US and internationally in Belgium.
- U-18 Belgium National team.
- Standout career for Rider University and the Broncs, where she received two-time First Team AII-MAAC awards (2017, 2018). Transferring to Towson in 2020,Vandam was tabbed the CAA defensive player of the year, while also making first team all-conference.
- Vandam holds her B.A. in Philosophy, Information Systems, Film & Media, M.A. in Marketing Intelligence, and P.B.C in Interactive Marketing.
